Court Delays and Search Complications

Berrien, MI Restored
Holmes, MS Down

CA

Los Angeles - The court removed the dob from public access on 2/23/2024. Because of this, files need to be ordered for every possible name match. This has caused a few hours delay from usual.

San Joaquin - Extended clerk delays for all possible records older than 2015. All such cases must be ordered from off-site storage to verify IDs and retrieve case info. Turnaround times are averaging more than 4 weeks, with some taking as long as 10 weeks.

Sacramento, Siskiyou, and Solano - IDs removed from public access. Searches with no name matches can be returned as clear very quickly. Searches with name matches must be ordered through the clerks. Limited appointments, limited file pulls, and clerk shortages add to the extended backlogs - delays expected.

Alpine, Plumas, Tehama - Clerk assisted. Please expect delays for all searches.

GA

Clayton - Continued clerk delays due to staffing issues. The turnaround for records and possible records is averaging 8-10 business days.

Fulton - Court systems were restored on 2/9/2024. PAT access is limited. Please expect delays as the backlog is worked through.

KS

Research can now be done in all KS counties.* Clears can be done quickly. However, please expect continued delays for records, as documents are often needed for sentencing and other case details.

*Important Note: For many counties, this is a historical search only and DOES NOT include anything filed after October 11th, 2023. For a current listing of counties that are current, please see the highlighted counties on this site: Court Systems Security Incident - KS Courts Please note: Johnson County wasn't affected, so their records are also up-to-date.
